James Dumont

James is an Associate Director at Gershman Investment Corp. specializing in FHA-insured financing for multifamily and healthcare properties.  He began at Gershman in 2020, working directly for Managing Director Adam Hendin.  He has helped facilitate the closing of over half a billion dollars in transactions across the country and is currently transitioning into a full-time loan origination role.  James has worked in commercial lending his entire professional career, previously at a company that specialized in lending to the security and alarm industry, and before that in Commerce Bank’s credit department. He graduated with both a B.S. in Accounting and his MBA from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Outside of work James is on the Board of Directors for a couple of charitable organizations and enjoys staying active whether it be running, biking, lifting, or playing competitive sports.
