Amy Michel

Ms. Michel is the Senior Managing Director of Closing, Construction Administration, and Loan Servicing Division at Gershman and leads a team of 10-15 people in various functions in the Multifamily Department.  Ms. Michel holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Finance and a minor in Accounting.  from Southeast Missouri State University.  Immediately after graduation, Ms. Michel was employed by Gershman Investment Corp. 

Ms. Michel has served in various roles within the Multifamily and Healthcare Lending Group.  She is a HUD-approved Construction Loan Administrator, as well as both a MAP and LEAN Underwriter.

Throughout Ms. Michel’s tenure at Gershman, she has performed nearly all facets of the FHA loan underwriting and processing, closing, construction loan administration, and loan servicing functions.  The 26 years Ms. Michel has spent with FHA multifamily and healthcare-insured loans has enabled her to have a very strong overall knowledge of the program requirements and to be able to make sound judgments and recommendations for the company.
